Blaze Coaching is proud to introduce the Global Bereavement Leadership Index 2025, an initiative designed to explore and recognise the best bereavement policies in organisations around the world. Our goal is to understand how companies provide grief support to employees, compare it with government-mandated entitlements, and identify the leading practices that can help improve employee wellbeing during one of life’s most difficult times. The Global Bereavement Leadership Index 2025 will be released on October 10, 2025, and will include a detailed report and ranking of companies.

How it works

The Global Bereavement Leadership Index 2025 invites businesses of all sizes to submit information about their bereavement policies and grief support systems. The survey is open to businesses across all industries, and it’s entirely free to participate.

• Companies can register their interest in participating via the form below

• Once registered, you’ll receive a comprehensive survey form that covers bereavement leave entitlements, mental health support, and other key areas related to grief in the workplace

• Companies complete the survey and return it to us by July 15, 2025. All responses will be kept confidential.

• Blaze Coaching will analyse the data collected from participants and create the Global Bereavement Leadership Index 2025. This report will be released publicly on October 10, 2025.

How to participate

• Register by completing the form below to sign up for the survey. Once registered, you’ll receive access to the full survey form.

•  Fill out the survey with your company’s bereavement policy details. The survey will ask about:

  • Bereavement leave duration and eligibility

  • Mental health resources available to employees

  • Additional support programs like counseling, employee assistance programs, etc.

  • Other related policies or practices

• Return the completed survey form to Blaze Coaching by the submission deadline.
